About Amy:

Amy Oden, Ph.D.
Professor of Early Church History and Spirituality,

Born and raised on the prairies of Oklahoma, Amy has found her spiritual orientation under the wide-open sky. Teaching is her calling, and she looks forward to every day with students. Currently she is Professor of Early Church History and Spirituality at Saint Paul School of Theology at OCU. She served on the faculties of Oklahoma City University and Wesley Theological Seminary where she also served as Dean. For 25 years, Amy has taught theology and history, pursuing scholarship in service of the church. Most of her work has been an effort to make ancient voices our companions for today.
