Module One: The Other

In preparation for this week's material, please read, “Skywoman Falling” in Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass. In addition, consider the following:

  • Who is the other?

  • In Skywoman Falling, Kimmerer says of Eve, “Sister, you got the short end of the stick.” (Kimmerer, p.7) What emotion does that bring forward for you?

  • How do we listen to those who do not speak?
