Mike McDonald

Michael McDonald lives in Asheville, NC and teaches political science and international studies at Western Carolina University. Michael grew up in Charlotte, NC, and is a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. He received his bachelors degree in economics from Davidson College, and his masters degree and Ph.D. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. His teaching and research focus on international relations, international development, research methods, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Michael attends Central United Methodist Church along with is wife, Christina, and two children: Ellie (5) and Henry (2).
