Discussion Questions:

  1. In The Samaritan’s Friend, Photina, the Samaritan woman, listens to Jesus’s teaching and responds, “Yes, I’ve always thought that.” What is something that you have simply always believed before you ever heard it or read it somewhere?

  2. In the story, Rachel, one of Jesus’s favorite disciples was the woman taken in adultery. In other words, one that got it and loved Jesus fell pretty hard. How did that make you feel?

  3. Also in the story, Jesus’s opposition is growing angrier and more dangerous. When was a time you were afraid to do the right thing?
